Hello all. I am attempting to upgrade my Windows ME
machine to XP via a Windows XP upgrade CD. The first thin
I did was run the compatibility wizard that is on the CD.
Everything seemed to be proceeding normally until I got
to "Processing System Files - DVD Movie Player" that I got
an error. A message window popped up with the following
message:

"Migisol has caused an error in kernel32.dll".

Now I went to the knowledge base and discovered that this
message is represnetative of a software compatibility
issue. My question is, how do I know what software it is
that is incompatable? The error message does not say, and
the last thing the Compatibility wizard said before the
error message popped up is "Processing System Files - DVD
Movie Player". The only DVD software that is on the
computer is Power DVD, which I uninstalled the first time
I got the error, but that made no difference. Any help
would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Go to Kellys website at the following address. This a very good list of
