Free up some virtual memory

Hi,

I have an HP Pavillion Notebook. It has 1.4 Hard drive
has 240m of memory. Currently it's memory is only 119.
How can I achieve more memory.

Are you concerned about how much memory is being used? Only 119MB
is free?

If so, don't be concerned about it. Memory is there to be used.
Unused memory is wasted memory, and you should not want to see
any of it idle. Windows tries to find use for all your memory all
the time; if your apps don't need it, it will for example use it
for caching, then give it back when your apps need it again.

This is good, not bad. The quest for free memory is misguided.

You shouldn't have more memory free. You want Windows using the memory not
leaving it free.
Windows uses as much memory as possible at all times as to acheive speed and
functionality.
Also I do believe your numbers are a little FUBAR'd
1.4 Hard drive? Not realistic unless it was 1.4 Terrabytes which doesn't
exist.
240m memory? Memory is generally in multiples of 128 although technically it
would be possible to have 240m it is more ikely that you have 256MB.
