Hi,
Need a little help ref XP.
I was connecting a laptop to the network and changed the
workgroup name, but the name already assigned had a
password and username specified, Now when I try to logon
it wont let me in, access denied

Was the previous account a domainaccount? Because in that case you need
domainadmin rights to setup a connection again...

I doubt the previous account was a domainadmin, and the OP certainly
doesn't need domainadmin rights. Why? I infer this from the
reference to changing the workgroup name, meaning the system is NOT
being run in a domain.
