Every time that i boot Word XP or any other office
products up, I get the speech pop-up box asking me if i
want to train voice recognition. 2 clicks and it is gone
but it is annoying when i considering how much i go into
word daily and excel and powerpoint. Can anyone tell me
how to shut this thing off permanently??? much
appreciated.

Hi,

Control Panel/Add & Remove, select Word (or Office), then change/remove. =
You can use the options here to uninstall the unwanted speech program.
