I have seen this addressed in the archives, but can't determine a
suitable solution.
I have xp pro on a brand new computer. When I try to set power
management policies I get the message: "Power Policy Manager unable to
set policy. Indicates two revsion levels are incompatible."
I have seen the MS suggested fix, but it is not clear. It suggests
deleting a profile and creating a new one. Does it mean deleting a
"user profile" or a "power scheme profile."
I cannot set the power management to shut down the monitor and hd.
Also, does xp pro have a Hibernate feature?
Any help will be appreciated.
