When I copy files to a diskette on my old Windows 98
system and then bring the diskette to this XP system and
open the A: drive, XP says the diskette is empty. Then I
take it back to the 98 to verify, and I see the files.
What is going on? I need to transfer my files. Thanks.

Format a new or blank floppy under the WinXP system, copy the files from the
floppy to a clean directory on your HD on the Win98 system, put the
formatted floppy from the WinXP system into your A:\ drive on the Win98
system and copy those files to the floppy, try it on the WinXP system.
This may or may not work.
