I have followed all of the instructions in the manual and
done other searches but, cannot find an uninstall file for
Windows XP. Even the Microsoft site yields nothing when
searched. We need to go back to Windows 98.

If you have converted your hard disk to NTFS then you won't be able to go
back to 98. You also may not be able to if you've installed SP1.

Other than that, its in Add/Remove Programs

It is uninstallable only if it went on as an upgrade; then there is a
listing in Add/Remove.

If you did a dual-boot then there is no info from Microsoft. Do a Google
search and you will find instructions.

Greetings --

If you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to backup the
old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS, then all
you need do is boot into Safe Mode and Start > Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions _must_ be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
