keyboard

i can not use my shift key in any window. when i touch
my left shift it takes me to hp/picture. when i touch my
right shift key it takes me to my e-mail. hp cant even
find out what is wrong. any suggestions i'd appreciate.

Sounds like a friend has played a joke or you have a virus.

Try opening the control panel/ keyboard to see if you can
see any hint about the keys.
Run a virus check.

Have you tried a different keyboard just in case there is a
problem with the keyboard?
