I tried to install and uninstall the network adapter since
it doesn't work properly on my network. After the 4th
time or so, it prompts me with an error msg telling me
that the device name already exist. I tried to do system
restore, it doesn't work. I tried to boot on last know
good hardware config, still doesn't allow me to install
the device.

Any suggestions?

Hello

What if you remove the card from your pc and then reboot
let the system load back up, then shut the pc down and one
or two option either replace the card or try the card in a different
slot, what happens and have you tried doing this yet.

Hello

Well did not know you had a laptop but it could be that you have
a bad slot just maybe, if the card works fine in another laptop
just fine, could be that the slot on your laptop could be defective
try and see if you have a different card to try.
