How can I use 1 pc and 2 monitors?

Eric, all you need is another video card and whala.. :)

You need a video card that has output for two monitors.If yours does not
have two outputs, possibly look different as most have one dvi and one
analogue, then do a search in somwhere like amazon.com etc and you should
find plenty.

Can I just buy another video card if mine only has 1 output or do I need one that has 2 outputs?

You will need a video card that supports dual output,
Matrox makes a card just for that ok
