Scanner Compatibility

Is my CanoScan FB620P compatible with Windows XP??
It worked with Windows 98, When I go to install in new pc
with Windows XP it tell me that it may harm my system!
I dont want to buy a new scanner if I dont have to>

Perhaps you should go to the source.. The Manufacturer of said hardware.
They can tell you, provide you with support, etc.

or more simply go to www.usa.canon.com then click on Support. Click on
Drivers & Downloads. In the next window choose consumer products and in the
next window click on Scanners in the left window and FB620P in the right
window. Your downloads will appear for the scanner which will work with Win
XP

Have you tried the Canon site and see if there is a xp driver. Also, search
with google. Possible to try win2000 driver. Some scanners and printers
just do not work.

The driver supplied with your Scanner will not work with Windows XP.
You need to download a new driver from http://www.canon.com
