I recently reinstalled windows due to virus problems.
When I try to access the System Restore, I get this error
message: "rstrui.exe entry point not found. The
procedure entry point Remote Assistance Prepare System
Restore could not be located in the dynamic link libary
WINSTA.dll."

When I check Performance and Maintenance/Administrative
Tools/Computer Managment/Services and
Applications/Services/System Restore Services....it
shows "started".

How can I correct this error?

Hi Gayle,

Try turning off SR, reboot, and turn it back on. Go to the Control =
Panel/System/SR tab and disable it for all drives (yes, you will lose =
any existing restore points), reboot and restart it.
