computer just stopped recognizing my cd rom drives and
there is no way to get them back! Please someone help us
with this issue!

Download this fix to fix missing Cd drives or drives with error 39
etc:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_cd_dvd_fix.htm. Download
the vbs
script file, double click it and click yes when prompted. You will
need to
reboot for the changes to take effect.
