Hello, I recently use a bootloader for multi-OS. But I
decided to uninstall the bootloader as well as the other
OS except XP. I wanted to restore back my original MBR
when only XP was first installed. Can anybody help?

Hi,

Is it the WinXP bootloader or a different one? What other one? You could =
boot the Recovery Console and ru nbootcfg /rebuild from the command =
prompt.

HOW TO: Install and Use the Recovery Console in Windows XP [Q307654]

Hmm,

That should be "run bootcfg /rebuild"

It's hard to tell you everything you need to do without any specific
error messages. I would guess that your alternate boot loader probably
left the NT boot loader files intact, so I would boot the XP CD and
select the first repair option, logon to the Recovery Console, and run
"fixmbr" and "fixboot". If that doesn't do it, then you'll have to post
the specific error message, but you may have to restore the three NT
boot loader files that belong, hidden, on the root of C:.
