I'm looking for Direct Show. When I upgraded my computer,
I never bothered to play DVD's, now I can't. It says I
have no DVD decoder and after some research, I found that
Direst Show is supported and is supposed to be included
with Windows XP, but I've found nothing on it, and the
page at Microsoft dedicated to Direct Show is no longer
avaliable...suggestions?

DirectShow is part of DirectX...however it alone will not allow you to play
a DVD...for that you need DVD decoders...
www.microsoft.com/directX
Cheapest way is just the decoders from
http://www.intervideo.com/products/custom/ms/windowsxp/media_pack.jsp
and then play the DVD in WindowsMediaPlayer
