Hello,

I have a hard disk with only one dynamic NTFS partition
(created under Win2k)

I have connected this disk to a WinXP Home Edition computer.

Result : The XP computer "sees" the disk and its partition BUT
this partition is seen as "Foreign", so XP doesn't read its
logical drives (E:, F: ....)

Question : How can I make XP read the logical drives of this
disk ?

Please reply ONLY if you are sure about your response.

PS: I know that in "Disk Management" I can right click on this
disk (not on the partition) and select "import foreign disk",
but I almost sure that this option wasn't available (I can check
this now, as the XP computer isn't available). Could you confirm?

By the way, I also know that the version of NTFS is 3.1 under XP
and 3.0 under Win2k.

Thank you for your help !

Regards,

Christian

Windows XP Home Edition does not support dynamic disks.....only
Windows XP Professional does.
