View Full Version : Cannot set "open each folder in its own window"

In windows explorer- tools/folder options - under browse
folders - no matter which item I select - either "open
each folder in a seperate window" or "open each folder in
its own window - windows explorer just opens each in a
new window no matter what. I tried holding down alt or
ctrl or shift while opening a new folder. It's getting
very annoying. I tried a registry fix/scanner with no
luck.
HELP!

Although it describes a different problem, this article should help
you: "Search Companion Starts If You Double-Click a Folder"
