"my computer" window

when i click on "my computer" nothing is in the window
and sometimes it locks up, it show a flashlight searching.

Hi Bob,

Try this, start/ru nmsconfig, go to the services tab and disable Windows =
Image Acquisition. Click apply/ok and reboot. Does this resolve it? That =
service is often enabled by scanner and camera installations and can =
cause this problem.
