It depends if you have upgraded from XP from another OS
like 98, 2K, Me etc, If you originally had another OS,
load that one 1st, then XP 'over the top of it', if you
aint got an original OS, it means your gonna have to get
the full version!

No need to install the older OS, and it is NOT a good idea. A clean install
is a clean install and it is the best way to go.
