Help

I just installed a Soundblaster 5.1 card in my computer
and it will not recognize the card at all from the boot
up. I have taken it out and reinstalled it. I have
disabled the bios and taken off the McAfee Virus Scan. The
computer has an Athlon 2000+ and it was running sound
before. This has been extremely frustrating and the people
from Creative have crappy customer service. Please help.

Hello

If you remove the card does your pc run ok, if so it could be a bad
card. Another thing to try is to place the card in a different slot ok
if
your still having problems with that card return it to the store and get

another one
