Yes u have the right idea, u need to uninstall and then
reinstall the device drivers. u can uninstall drivers
from within the system control panel. Right click on "My
Computer">>Properties>>Hardware-Device Manager. then
select the device. double click on it, and just choose
uninstall drivers, or even update driver
