auto-complete - how do I disable?

I think auto complete is one of the most annoying
features of windows - can someone please tell me how to
negate it or turn it off?? thanks and god bless - dl.

really? you do not find it useful? well, to each his/her own, i guess.

anyway, to turn off auto complete is easy. open internet explorer, click
tools>internet options, then, on the "content" tab, click the "auto
complete" button, then just uncheck all the boxes on the resulting window.
