file type tab. i select the folder icon, click on advanced
and set the default to explore, this is gravy, exactly
what i want. however when i try to do the same thing to
the file folder the explore the only options available
are "find, and open" open will open the double clicked
file folder into a ne window (the edit button is always
greyed out, there is no way to edit an existing action) .
my goal is for the file folder to open in the same window,
but it keeps opening a new window evertime i double click.
i wnet through the entire ,tools/folder options, options ,
clicked apply to all foders and all that jazz but it still
does not work. am i missing something? please help!!!!

Hi Nino,

If you want all folders to open in the same window, click on tools >> folder options and on the
general tab, under "Browse folders" select 'Open each folder in the same window'.
