I have an Actiontec MD560RD MDC modem and use Windows xp
professional. I am haveing trouble dialing out to remote
modems. My modem will dial out but never makes the
connection with the remote site. I can install an
external modem where I can force the AT String and
communicate fine. I believe my issue is that the
internal modem speed is to high however I have already
changed the port speed and transmit recieve buff settings
in windows with ni results. I only need to communicate
at 38.4k. I am trying to connect to a U.S. Robotics
Model#5686E modem.
