Is there a program to detect ram, as far what size and
speed ( 128, 256, 512 / pc100, etc. ) using a built in
Microsoft or 3rd party program? Some thing that would
bypass opening up the computer and looking at it
physically. Thanks.

Your computer should tell you as it boots. If not turn of the =
Manufacturer's Logo so you can see it. See your manual.
