View Full Version : printer driver lexmark z 605 printer

installed lexmark printer in april. removed said printer
to put on another computer for short time. when tried to
reinstall on my computer i get an error message that says
"error copying file LXBCDR5C.DLL." lexmark support was
no help after four phone conversations over 3 weeks time.
if this is an error by microsoft can someone help me fix
this and use my new printer again. or will i just have
to go buy another printer and hope this error does not
occur again.

You need to do a COMPLETE uninstall and reinstall.... AND it's a Lexmark...
see Bruce Sanderson's instructions for how to blitz the drivers... and
ensure you take special note of his steps 14 through 16.
