Hi, can anyone out there help me please?
I have this document which has been done in Word and I've
been asked to convert it into an Excel document. I've
copied/cut and pasted the document but it changes the
settings. Is there any other possible way this can be done
as a straight transfer across without having to re-type or
reset the settings?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!

Open Excel, look on the Data menu for "import external
data", it will find your table in Word (I assume you are
talking about importing a Word table.

OR you can save the file as a rtf (Rich Text Format) then open newdoc.rtf in
Excel.
