Everytime I've booted up Windows with this Soltek 75FRN2-L
MB with AMD 2500+ XP CPU I always get the following Event
ID's from the event viewer. I don't recall getting them
while running applications after that:
Event ID: 51 An error was detected on device
\Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.
Event ID: 9 The device, \Device\SCSI\nvidesm1, did not
respond within the timeout period.
This MB uses the Nvidia NForce2 chipset with the latest
BIOS & Nvdia drivers. The hard drive is a Maxtor 80GB
DiamndMax+. I can't use their PowerMax diagnostic utility
because of an issue with the Nvidia chipset which Maxtor
is still working on. I had this hard drive with a
previously MB and didn't experience these errors. Anyone
have further thoughts or ideas as to whether the MB is at
fault?
