View Full Version : Controlling window size....

I'm getting annoyed with having to resize every window that opens
up...whether it's to stretch it or to bring it to a reasonable size,
relative to the amount of space the title of the files and folders is
taking up...
I was wondering if anyone knows of a small program(hack) that will let the
window background "float" around the amount of data inside. For instance,
every window would open with, let's say, 20 pixels of blank space on the
bottom and right side, in relation to whatever test is in the
window....Therefore, if there is a lot of data in the window, it will open
to a larger size than it there were only a couple of items.....
If there isn't such a prog, maybe one of you guys could write one..:-)
Thanks,
Waldo

This may do
http://www.bookmarklets.com/tools/windowing/indexE.phtml
these do lots of neat stuff. Make your own by changing
580,600 in PROPERTIES to whatever u want. I have 3 custm
sizes.

If u execute 1 on WX window, it will resize but window will
be blank. Just go back a window & contents will appear.

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)
