All drives were installed on W2K. I originally wanted to
be able to boot to either W2k or XP Home Editon. XP Setup
wouldn't allow me to do this. So I let it partition my C:
drive, lose all files and load the OS. They hasn't been
any physical changes on the PC. XP doesn't appear to want
to assign drive designations except to the C: drive. The
only options for the two HD's are "Partition" and "Help"
and neither is a choice as far as I'm concerned. It seems
that XP wants to partition and lose all my files or do
nothing. Sour grapes are slowly evolving. Any help is
appreciated by the public since Microsoft is at a loss in
backing up its own products by having a useless chain of
search options that can't answer my questions other than
charging me for advice that would help the OS. Believe
me, I've tried. RANT STOP!!!!
