New CPU

I am currently running Windows XP Home on a Pentium II machine with a ASUS
MB, 100 MHz bus which supports Pentium II & Pentium III. processors. Can I
upgrade the processor to a Pentium III with a 133 MHz bus ? Will it clock
down the bus speed to match the motherboard?
