Outlook Express

HELP!! When I open Outlook Express, v.6.0 it opens ok
but the "send/receive" button is "grayed out" so that I
can't open or receive messages. I accidently found that
if I clicked "create mail" then closed it, then
the "send/receive"button was ok and I could proceed. Does
anyone know of a fix for this problem? If so, please
reply to my e-mail account.

Yhis may be worth a try. Right click on the toolbar--select
customize--select the send receive icon and remove. Then go back and select
the send receive icon and add or install it.

Thanks. I tried this but it still didn't work--same
problem. It's annoying but it still will work if I
hit "create" then close the box.
