Dear Friends,
May I kindly check if there is a speed difference in the following?
1)USB external modem (56kbps)
2)Serial external modem (56kbps)

There should be any. Although USB is many times faster than serial, the
modem only transmits at 56 KB/s, so it shouldn't matter. Then again, if you
only have 2 USB ports, you may want to keep them free, when ever possible.
That way, if you have a USB only device, you'll have a free port.
