Win 98 SE to XP

P.S.: I forgot to add that we then want to install XP as
our o/s. Can the Win 98 programs (Corel Draw 9; Corel
Word Perfect 9; Office 2000 - etc.) then be reinstalled in
the XP operating system and work ok?

Most should work just fine. Install under xp and they will probably work
better.

I found that WordPerfect 9 would crash unless I used it in win98
compatability mode.

It may work fine on other systems. Check Corel site for more info.
