1. what is the best way to keep a thread going, to post
a "new message" or just add to first? Won't the latter
method get buried?
2. I went to Knowledgebase and downloaded the recommended
patch/fix to enable Money 2002 to run. Then I installed
it.
3. The fix, checksku.exe, failed.
4. what now amigos?

By posting a new message instead of replying to the origianl, we are left in
the dark as to what you're problem is. Granted, you'll get more attention
this way, but most people won't bother going back in the posts to find your
other posts so they can find out what the original problem was.
I'm not sure what your problems are, but have you tried re-installing Money?
Or upgrading to 2003? You can find a copy fairly cheap on amazon.com. In
fact it's practically free after the rebates and if shipping is under $5.00
then you'll make money off the deal.

*Always* reply rather than start a new message. Otherwise the
pieces of the thread don't stay together.
Also, you're using the web-based interface to read and send
messages. This is probably the most cumbersome possible way to do
it. Instead you should use a newsreader. You already have Outlook
Express, which comes with Windows, and you can use that or any
other newsreader you prefer.
