autocomplete in searching for files

I know how to turn on and off the autocomplete option
when searching my computer for files, but i need to find
out how to clear the autocomplete so that when i turn the
option on it doesnt show things ive searched for very
long ago.
Can anyone help me out? I appreciate it

Go to IE>tools>Internet options>Clear history. When done ,click on the
