Lite Installer

First, can someone please explain what the heck this is?
Every time I log on to Windows XP, I get a response "Lite
Installer has encountered a problem and needs to close."
God Bless anyone who can help me. Does this mean there
is some sort of spyware on my computer. I'm worried.
I've sent the report to microsoft many times but get no
response.

Michelle

Yes, it sounds like spyware or something else you do not want is trying to
install itself. Go to Start/Run, type: msconfig and press OK. Click the
Start Up tab and look for an entry with the same name as the program that is
throwing that error. Remove the check mark for that program, exit and reboot
the system.

Note the location name and location of the program/file involved and go that
location and delete the file.
