Hi

After purchasing my pc from ebay I realised I only have 30
days to activate the pre installed version of xp home
edition before it went off. The only problem is that I
have lost the cd with the activation code. Is there any
way of getting another activation code or do i have to
purchase a new XP CD.

Any help would be good.

You do not need to have an activation code (or shouldn't.) Simply run the
online activation program and MS will supply the activation code to your
machine (without ever telling you what it is.) You can also do this by
phone.

The Keycode for the CD is already installed in the machine - or install
would not have run at all.
