usb drive problems

hi guys,

i recently bought a Crucial Gizmo USB Flash drive.

Following the instructions, i inserted it into my Toshiba
laptop running XP Home SP1. Ba Da Bing , no problem,
installed and running itself. Shows as a drive.

Now when i inserted it into my desktop machine running XP
Pro SP1, started to install then said it couldnt find the
drivers for the device.

I am confused as surely it should have just done as the
laptop did?

Now every time it shows up with a yellow "!" in device
manager and cannot operate...code 1 problem with the
drivers.

I have looked on the web but i cannot see any drivers for
the USB Mass Storage Device as seen by my laptop. Should i
try the 98 drivers supplied by Crucial?

Any or all help would be greatly appreciated.
