I am also running a virus cyhecker, and I also just updated my wind9ows
wityh the most critical updates. I am running Englisyh US and I am not on a
laptop. I yhave a NATURAL keyb9oard... and it 9only yhappens on this
pr9ofile wityh certain keys...

I YHATE THIS. I YHAVE HADE THIS PR(OBELME BERFORE AND I D(ONT KNOW HOW TO
FIX IT!

Is your language bar enabled ? It could be speech to type adding the
characters. Disable the language bar, and I think this will turn the speech
to type option off

Under Language -> Details -> Advanced

Turn off Additional features seems to have solved the problem
