Can anyone tell me if it's possible to schedule a disk
degragment on Windows XP Professional?

It is. Use the DEFRAG command-line tool. For details, type
DEFRAG /?
at a DOS prompt.

yes it is go on schduled task and selct defrag from the list or if it's not
there find it in the windows directoryu then when you have done that set the
time up and then go on advance maybe after the wizard or in the wizard and
selct run when idle or schdule one.
