I solved it. I did contact HP but you know what you get
from them, the usual crap..."Reinstal from your Restore
CD".Well, my restore cd has home edition on it plus a
million things I don't need including AOL links.AOL???
People still use that crap? Anyhow, the problem was that
the genius that I am, I was hitting F7 during the install
process which disables Power Management. Now everything
works fine. Thanks guys.
