My XP desktop has 256M of RAM and a paging file set to
384M. While it generally performs o.k., I get
an "Insufficient memory" message when I try to use Adobe
Imageready to export a VERY SMALL Quicktime movie I've
created.

I can successfully do it using Imageready on my work
laptop that has XP, same amount of RAM and identical
paging file setting.

In both situations, no other programs were running. My
System Information doesn't indicate any malfunction of my
RAM as far as I can see.

Has anyone got any suggestions how I could fault find ??

Thanks
Bevan Clark

You are severely restricting the virtual memory on that system. Go to the
following website and read up on handling the VM in XP by MVP Alex Nichol..
