I have installed the DLA 3.58 software which was provided
with the Drive. I can write files to the drive on DVD-RW
without a problem but if I access(read) the files like an
mp3 file the system occasionally crashes. If I remove
the DLA software and access the files I don't have a
problem. I have updated all of my peripheral drivers and
motherboard BIOS. Sony's customer support told me that
they don't support mp3s or jpgs using DLA(hey right). I
have also noticed that sometimes when I have DLA and a
DVD-RW drive in the system my processor will run at 50%
wether I have an explorer window open or not.
