Hello there: I've just made myself an xp boot disk with sp1 included. I was
wondering what happens if I use this disk to reinstall one day - will it
accept the same product key as before? Will there be any issues with
activating the install?
Thanks

Hi
What have you put on the boot disk? Is it a 'slipstreamed' CD?

Yes I think thats what you call it. I got the instructions from here:
http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/winxp-sp1-bootcd.html
It works, though I've not used it to reinstall anything yet.

Hi
Yes, that should be OK. Use it to boot with and then install XP - when =
you want to. Yes it will accept your original PK - assuming you used =
the original XP CD to create it.
