Can some one please help me out

[HSV Guy]

I've tried to download a few songs off the net and everytime i go to play
them i get 5 seconds of recording and the rest in distortion.

If i just click along the slide bar to new position (fast forward) the song
will play fine for another 5 seconds and then horrible sound would start up
again.

I've tried different sites but still same result.

I thought it might of been windows media player so i've tried various other
players and still got same problem.

Can any one help me out with this

What site are you downloading these songs from, a legal site
or an illegal P2P?

Sure...uninstall Kazaa and stop stealing songs illegally.
