Shift key doN't work in remote software

Hi there,

got a problem that in every remote software I use, e.g.
pcAnywhere or VMWare which creates a "virtual" desktop my
shift key together with the arrow keys dosn't work
anymore. Even more strange, the Num-lock does now this
function, for example if I want to mark some files in the
explorer, I can't use the shift and arrow keys instead I
have to switch on the Num-Lock and use the arrow keys to
mark files...

Any idea ?
