I know this has been asked before but I thought I'd ask again in case
there has been any change or maybe someone has a solution.
I work in an office of about 70 people. What I'd really like to do is
to set up an active desktop that has a floor plan of our office with a
quick chat link to each persons office.
The advantage is not so much to be able to chat with them rather it
would be to see if they are online or not i.e. in the office or not.
We have a lot of people out of the office, working.
Then one day I'd probably like to expand the idea so that there is a
map of the country and I could click on other offices in our firm and
see who's in.
I hope that's clear. If I could just drag and drop that icon from
within instant messenger... that would be ideal.
