View Full Version : disapearing task manager

When trying to access the task manager (Alt-ctrl-del) on
Windows XP the window pops up for a split second then
disappears. When the task manager window disappears, a
little green box appears on the bottom right hand of the
task bar, and disappears as soon as you move your mouse
over it. Pressing Alt-ctrl-del to get the window up again
simply produces more green boxes in the task bar rather
than re-booting.
Has anyone else come across this problem? Is it a virus or
something & how can I get into the task manager to find
out!? AL
