Hard Drive Backup

I was told that Windows XP has a capability to backup the
hard drive. I have looked under System Tools and all I
find is RESTORING but no BACKUP. Can someone give me a
clue on this?

IIRC, XP's backup app (named NTBACKUP) is on real XP CDs, both
retail and OEM versions. But it is not on the recovery CDs that
many PC vendors supply, and it may not be on the HD if the PC
vendor did not even supply a recovery CD.

Just one of the reasons for paying extra to get a real XP CD
when you buy a new PC with XP.
